To Herrmann International From Asheville
Travel Time: 60 minutes
Take I-40 east about 20 miles to exit 73, the 2nd Old Fort exit--at the very bottom of Old Fort Mountain.
At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Bat Cave Road.
Proceed 0.5 mile and turn left onto Old Fort-Sugar Hill Road (at a closed gas station, and shortly after a fish restaurant).
Go to the end of Old Fort-Sugar Hill Road-about 10 miles, and turn right onto Montford Cove Road.
About 5.5 miles down Montford Cove Road turn right onto Bill's Creek Road. There is a billboard for Fairfield Mountains marking this turn. At the intersection, Montford Cove Road (which has become Cove Road at this point) is in the middle of a hard left turn. About ½ mile earlier, you passed a country store on your right.
About 7.3 miles down Bill's Creek Road turn right onto Buffalo Creek Road. At this intersection there is a country store (Dalton's) on the left, immediately after a volunteer fire station.
Herrmann International is a large gray building 1.3 miles down Buffalo Creek Road on the right with a gravel parking area in front. Across the street are three gray condominium buildings that are part of the Fairfield Resort.

Allow at least 1 hour 45 minutes driving time
Turn right onto Bill’s Creek Road (travel approx. 2 miles)
Turn left onto U.S. Hwy. 64/74 (travel approx. 13 miles)
At the 5th traffic light take a RIGHT onto U.S. Hwy. 74 By-Pass (these are spaced out over about 2 miles) (REFERENCE: there will be a Hardee’s fast-food restaurant on your right)
After about 25 miles you will go through a small town called Shelby, continue on for about 15 more miles to the I-85 exit.
Take the I-85 NORTH exit …. towards Charlotte, NC.
Continue on I-85 North for 25-30 miles
Take exit 33, US-521/Billy Graham Pkwy
Take the "Charlotte/Douglas International Airport" exit
