Learning With Style: Making Soft Skills Work Online
With virtual workforces asked to onboard employees more rapidly, many organizations have turned to eLearning as a solution for most business topics. Hard-skill topics ranging from accounting procedures to information technology systems are relatively easy to deliver online and often available off the shelf in a variety of formats. However, effective soft-skill online courses are hard to find and often when found, miss the mark. The challenge is to introduce online programs that will allow leaders to learn and capitalize quickly on their soft-skill competencies including customer service, leadership, communication, and teamwork. This session introduces a proven way to incorporate soft-skills into your e-learning curriculum and see results immediately. This engaging session will prepare you and your organization to effectively design, develop, deliver, and evaluate soft-skill eLearning solutions using Whole Brain Technology as well as inclusion learning principles. Through leveraging 25 years of adult learning research and experience on thinking styles, Herrmann International has successfully designed and launched effective soft skills eLearning resources to a multitude of organizations. We will share best practices for blended soft-skill learning applications, hybrid solutions, and simulation based scenario courseware.
