Herrmann International CEO Ann Hermann-Nehdi will present two sessions at Elliott Masie’s Learning 2010 Conference this fall, including a Thought Leader session that will explore themes and research from her forthcoming book, The Era of And.
In the Thought Leader session Developing Leaders for the “Era of And,” Ann will discuss strategies being implemented by major organizations to align leadership competencies with what we know about the brain. She will describe the approaches and methods they are using to develop the integrative, adaptive thinking skills essential to every leader’s success going forward. This session will explore the latest brain research as a foundation for how to develop leaders in the 21st century.
In The Neuroscience of Learning: Ignore It At Your Own Risk! Ann joins Charles Fadel, Global Lead – Education at Cisco Systems, for a review and debate of the latest advances in the neuroscience of learning field. They will explore physiological and behavioral implications as well as more sophisticated understanding and behavioral implications and will provide practical recommendations for the future of learning design and delivery.
Learning 2010 will be held in Orlando, Florida from Oct 24-27 at Disney's Coronado Springs Convention Center. Both of the sessions above will take place on Monday, October 25. For up-to-date information and to register, visit the Learning 2010 website.
