This year marks the 15th anniversary of Brain Awareness Week (BAW), the annual campaign to increase public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research.
Founded and coordinated by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and European Dana Alliance for the Brain, BAW unites the efforts of universities, hospitals, patient groups, government agencies, schools, service organizations and professional associations around the world in a weeklong celebration of the brain.
Brain Fact: The Plastic Brain
